This notice describes how we handle personal data collected through axbyte.se. It covers the website — if we process data about you as a customer or supplier, that happens under the agreement with your company.

What we collect and why
We only collect what you provide yourself, plus the technical data needed to run and protect the website.

We do not use this data for profiling or automated decision-making, and we never sell it. Getting in touch does not sign you up to any newsletter. If you apply for a job with us, applications are sent by email — that data is handled as an ordinary application, not through the website.
Who receives the data
The data is handled by us and by the providers who run the website for us:
- Our helpdesk system, which we operate ourselves. Contact form submissions are sent there as a ticket our staff can reply to.
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website and therefore sees the IP addresses of traffic.
- Google, for reCAPTCHA on the contact page and — only with your consent — Google Analytics.
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep the data
Messages sent through the contact form are kept in our helpdesk system for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to follow it up afterwards. Logs are kept for a shorter period for operations and security. Data that is no longer needed is deleted. If you want to know exactly how long your data is kept, get in touch.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you (right of access),
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have data erased,
- request that processing be restricted,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- in certain cases receive the data in a machine-readable format,
- withdraw a consent you have given at any time, without affecting processing carried out beforehand.
